I see how to make a 4th order bandpass, is there a way of making a rear vented box?

Use Nd, Tools>chamber>Rear Vented, and enter a Vrc, Lrc, Ap, and an Lpt.

Hi hellonwheels,
Or you could do it with the Compound Horn model (for your 6th order bandpass). Regards,

It seems to ignore the rear vent in the spl output... How can I get it to include the rear vent as spl? It does seem strange that it would totally ignore the output from the vent.

You have to look at the Combined SPL graph.
If you open the Wizard up you can flip between the driver, port, and combined outputs pretty easy. Seems like it's called default, 2nd, and combined. |

Hi,
Give this a try, just an example. You can also add Ap1/Lpt: Regards,

Hi,
David McBean has given us a wonderful tool in Hornresp. Take a look Help, Page 19 for the compound horn, and you can use the Loudspeaker Wizard (e.g.: Response - Horn S1-S3 - Combined). Regards,

Bringing this thread back to life
Given I have the following parameters, what do I select to model a 6th order bandpass? (confused between the various suggestions on this thread) And how do I approach the modelling if I already have a cabinet? thanks! |

"normal" driver configuration
Vtc + Atc = Front chamber, S1+S2+L12 = Front Port Vrc + Lrc = Rear Chamber. Ap1+Lpt = Rear Port in compound horn, you can use S5+S6+L56 as rear Port. |
