Hi,
I have purchased 3 no.s of LM3886, when i'm checked the ic with multimeter all the ic shows low impedance (010) between pins 2nd, 4th and 7th. is that a normal value ..? Last edited by pradeeppk; 7th October 2010 at 02:22 PM. Reason: mistake.. |

Download the device datasheet and have a look at the application circuit and the Pin descriptions. Your doubt will be cleared. As you are in India, you must be aware that most markets sell Duped products to make money. Mean re-printed components are common.

pin 2 should open circuit against all other pins, because it is not connected. Pin 4 is negative power supply and pin 7 GND so definitely no low impedance there.
