First off sorry if this is in the wrong section.
I have two MTX Thunder 4500 subs. Peak is 450 watts and RMS is 225 watts. I have a box already to go but I am trying to match an amp for the subs. I got a Dual XAF460 amp that has some specs that I have no Idea what they mean. 85 x 2 @ 4ohms 115 x 2 @ 2ohms 230 x 1 @4ohms bridged I don't know if this amp is powerful enough. If I need a new amp please let me know some suggestions. I want the amp to work with my stock head unit because it has cd player and a AUX jack for my Ipod. The Other problem is that I need some diagrams on how I should wire my subs together. I am a complete Newb at all this and I need as much help as I can. Thanks for all the help. And sorry if this is in the wrong section. The Car I drive by the way is a 2010 Chevy Cobalt stock everything. |
