They are to illustrate the general form a TH can take.

The 30hz TB horn on his site is different than the Hornresp design I presented, different driver, different box design, similar results.

I have merged your two accounts into david45 so Bear's question now seems out of place. Dual accounts are not permitted here.

Bjorno, I'm really curious about that T-TQWP. But, those thumbnails are a little small for me to see what is going on. Could you post bigger images?

When you click on it, there should be a four arrow image down in the LH corner to click on to make it full size. In Firefox, I usually just right click on the small image and open in a new tab to get the full size.

Duh. Sorry about that. I'm still trying to decide what to do with my pair of W8-740Cs. I know the TH-SPUD clone is the safest option, but I'm just not crazy about the shape and volume. I'm looking for something (or somethings) that takes up less floor space.

I found the T-TQWP design interesting when I first saw it as well - thanks for bumping the thread since I had forgotten about it.
bjorno (or anyone else with experience with these) is this really a practical design? the cross-section is basically a square tube 3.5 inches per side - is this viable with a fairly beefy 8" driver? I'm not even sure how you'd construct such a thing, and would think at the very least that a front chamber/rear chamber might have to be modeled.
Also, would a T-TQWP be stuffed, or just lined like a conventional TH?

Is it a coincidence that the F3 is very close to Fs for the driver? Most TH designs are ~0.5 octaves down from Fs.

Definitely a very interesting design if it can be made to work.
