This thread is over a year old and the sub was built just a few months ago. I ended up using the DC380-8 15". It went into a 6 cu ft box with twin 4" flared ports. It is tuned at 24Hz and sounds amazing. Playing pure sine wave test tones, it sounds so pure and low distorted. With my smaller speakers, the sine wave sounds not as pure even though the amp is not clipping. It makes so much bass with very little cone movement.
Your sub looks really nice!
