It's arrived, my XTZ Subamp 1 review

I recieved it today, I have to say this is the best sub amp my ears have heard. I'm particulary impressed with the high level inputs, they take with ease the current delivered form a Crown I - T8000 EQ'ed as well. I hooked up 4 yes .........4 8 ohm 800w 15's at high volume and it barely broke a sweat. Heatsinks were tepid. Driving a pair of 4 ohm 18's at high level and the thing ran cold!!!! It's an unstoppable beast. Grossly under priced at £200 me thinks. I'm testing the PEQ £500 version next, should recieve it next week.

XTZ were truley professional, from ordering to delievery It took just 20 hours.

If you are interested: The german import has some measurements of the precise ranges of HP, LP and EQ for the Sub amp 1.

I'm not shure about the configuration of this amp sold in the UK, but the one I bought here in SWeden has two EQ boost options (individual), EQ1 has the boost in 25 hz range, EQ2 in the 50 hz range (as in the german measurements above). Previous models had only the 50hz boost.
