I saw a movie recently called "It's All Gone Pete Tong".
It was a biopic about a real-life UK DJ who went deaf.
At one point in the movie, he attached a couple of subwoofers to his feet to try and mix using the vibrations from the subs as a cue...

I have actually laid on bass bins to get a massage.
