Hi all,
Newbie here, long story cut short, last year i upgraded the volt woofer in my rel storm mk1 with a volt 2500.1 and it worked fine. So i built an enclosure for the original volt that was in the rel but never finished it (no amp), so then i see a secondhand volt 2500.1 at a good price and i bought it, so now im considering using the 2 volt's 2500.1 in a new enclosure but haven't got a clue were to start, measurement etc. Can i lower the Hz with longer ports or are woofers designed to go to a set Hz? Can anyone give me some much needed info? cheers Rob |

As you seem to be a novice it's probably best you simply copy the design of the cabinet you already have. You may be able to trade dimensions, but keep the same volume and port diameter and length.
Unless you really want to get into the design side of things...
