hi there i have a pair of JBL 804 8" woofers i would like to put in a isobaric enclosure, Ive been told that a duel reflex bandpass would work in the space available L 14" H12.5" W10" maybe it would but i need to no air space for both chambers, port size & length if the enclosure isn't to small, if need be i could increase withe a bit more.
Hi. Do you have the TS parameters for this driver?
If you post them here, we can design some different cabs for you to choose from.
ok chris661 here it is
voice coil dc resistance: R evc (ohms) 3.49
voice coil inductance @ 1 khz l evc (mh) 1.64
driver radiating area: sd (in2) 33.17
motor force factor: bl (tm) 12.88
compliance volume: v as (ft3) 0.58
v as (liters) 16.42
suspension compliance: c ms (um/N) 251.00
moving mass, air load: m ms (grams) 115.00
moving mass, diaphragm: m md (grams) 113.20
free-air resonance: fs (hz) 29.60
mechanical Q Qms 6.37
electrical Q Qes 0.450
total Q Qts 0.42
magnetic-gap height: hag (in) 3/8
hag (mm) 9.00
voice-coil height: h vc (in) 1-1/4
h vc (mm) 32
maximum excurtion: x max (in) 7/16
x max (mm) 11.50
diameter: 8" (203mm)
sensitivity (2.83 v@ 1m): 91 db
power handling: 200 w rms 800 w peak
frequency response: 30~400 hz
nominal impedance: 4 ohms
voice-coil diameter: 2.0" (51.0 mm)
mounting depth 4-5/16" (110 mm)
i hope this helps you to configure me a isobaric box.
