Hi Soundhead,

Why do you want to morph a mid bass shoe dryer into a sub?

So your HR 'con' numbers should be in inch and not in cm?

Hi soundhead,

First, I think you have to relax your peaked requirements concerning using the proposed driver.

The consequences when stating: 25hz to 90 hz at 130 db and then the proposed cabinet type here above resulted in: See the 11 m^3 horn shown in the submitted picture.

A more sensible design is simulated too, the TH, that due to the low expansion rate and throat compression = (1:1) should be stuffed like a T-TQWT in order to gain SQ.

Conclusion: Would the proposed driver be good substitute to the RCF-18N401 in posting #3? See the second picture here below.
