The Matterhorn may be physically smaller, but it's output would easily surpass this built in sub (And it's portable!).

Bit worried about that drum kit in his room.
A drum kit is the very last thing I would want in my listening room since they rattle A LOT once you play some music.

How do you measure SPL on this set up?? Richter scale??

The rotary subwoofer goes lower.

aren't there car systems that go lower now?

You cant just say "it goes lower" without mentioning its maximum spl at the low corner, since even a little dome tweeter can be fed with a 1 hz signal and has to have a tiny amount of output this low (since it will move from the 1hz wave).
