Help! I am trying to design a subwoofer system for my project studio. Im using a pair of full range drivers whose freq response is rated @ 40 - 20k, FO 45,Qm 1.35, Qe 0.58, Qt 0.40, SPL 1m 1w 88. Is it practical to cross over to a single sub at 100 hz or so. I have heard that the ideal frequency is two octaves above FO of mid drivers, in this case 180 hz and into the zone where stereo information exists. I would rather do a singel channel sub that passive crossed subs for each speaker because of space constraints. Any advice appreciated!
