That's interesting. IMO if it has to be based on the drivers axis this would be more like a single fold:

Hi NEO Dan and FlipC,
This looks interesting. I like to use the four section version, and asign an average value to S4 (=S3+S5)/2 (as it cannot be determined accurately). S3 and the distance S2 to S3 can be determined accurately. From the drawing you can see how I asign S3 to S4, and S4 to S5 (approximating the center of the cone as S4 location). I feel this method gets you in the ballpark. Regards,
