how to wiring 8ohm three voice coil speaker

I have 3 voice coils sub driver,

i have stereo (2X LM3886, one for 60+/-watt), if i connect LM3886 to per single voice coil, sum up will be 60+60watt? or 60watt only?

and what the purpose of the third voice coil since we only got stereo.

The additional voice coil is probably to offer additional flexibility for impedance matching. It sounds like you have a Car Audio subwoofer, and three 8 ohm coils wired in parallel would present a 2.66 ohm load to the amplifier, allowing the subwoofer amplifier to deliver more power.

Anyhow, if you have three LM3886, you could juice each coil with it's own 60 watts, giving you 180 watts total.

Hi,
measure the DC resistance of each voice. That will give a clue on whether they are similar.
It will also give a clue on whether the VCs should be wired in parallel, or series, or series parallel, or that one VC is completely different from the others and intended for another purpose, eg. feedback.
