My cerwin vega lw12 powered subwoofer power cuts off every time I turn up the volume of the amp. When it cuts, I hear a relay click too. I can't seem to track the problem. Any advise?
Thanks Dave |

Moved to woofers section. Troubleshooting is for forum problems.

Amp protection circuits are usually activated because of:
1. Electrical over current caused by a short/intermittent (loose) connection or faulty amp 2. Over driven input via clean, distorted, DC offset in LFE signal, or gain set too high.
