I own several Peavey model pr10p 10" powered speakers.
I use them for live music with drums, guitar, bass.etc. Can I somehow change one or two of them into dedicated subs? The spec rates the low end at 60hz which honestly is not cutting it for kick drum purposes. I open to all suggestions. I like the size/portablility of these cabs and being able to "stack" them when needed would be a plus. Can I modify the internal crossover? unhook the horn? Should I just gut them? |

It would be unlikely that the driver is suitable for sub use, better to use something specifically designed for the job. You'll probably find that it isn't likely to be as portable though....
