I just recently bought 2 10" subs and a amp. I had a friend who knows how to install do it. It worked and played fo about 30 sec then thumped and went out.... No power to the amp at all. All of the fuses are good and all of the wiring is good. Touched a dc meter to the amp and its getting power, just the amp will not turn on. We plaugged the amp in my buddies car and it worked no problem.. What do you think is wrong with it?!!!? I hae tried absoluitly EVERYTHING and i cannot figure it out.

Yeah, put this in car audio.
Are you getting 12V? Not 8 or 9 or 11? Are you getting 12V at the turn-on lead??? Maybe you have main power, but nothing is signaling the amp to actually turn on. That's what it sounds like to me. |
