Hello i have 2 Behringer B1800x PRO subwoofers and i was wondering if i twould be better to use them each as seperate for the 3 DB gain or put them in isobarik. my basic question is which set up will be theoretically louder and which will be actually louder. what is the approximate gain for each. ill put in a link to the specs of the subs. heres a link to the manual, i couldnt find any specifics on the driver or TS parameters. the subs put out about 136 db each. which is all i knowexcept power handling and such which can be gatered from the link. http://media.zzounds.com/media/EUROL...99e685dbc5.pdf

If you can live with 2 boxes, each 2x as big, you definitely want to go with 2 subs. 2 have big advantage over 1.

well the subs are already in boxes so i was wondering if i could theoretically make them more efficient and knock an amplifier out of my system so i have a spare.

If you needed the extra amp, you could put them in either series or parallel, and run them mono. But many people on here would agree:
stereo subs beat 2 mono subs 2 mono subs beat 1 mono sub. A mono sub beats no sub at all.

What amps are you using?
The subs are 8Ω so if your amp is capable of 4Ω in bridged mode you could use just one amp. What is your opinion of the subs, do you find them to be impressive?
