Does anyone know if this is even possible?
The idea is to filter inaudible low frequencies from full range loudspeakers to reduce excursion. |

I see no reason for it not to work from basic physics principles however there may be some practicality overlooked. The inductor may have to be a very high value for example or you may need an imposible spec radiator speaker or the compresability of air may be too great.

Try it. It will act differently than you expect.
