So are both drivers in that one box? What are your box and port dimensions?
What exactly is it you don't like about the sound?

hi there
to calculate a box you have two options:

google all the formulas and calculate, or...
get a program to do it for you.

you put all the parameters of the woofers in the program, and it tells you how your box should be built.

try WinISD, it's free and it's simple what makes it a good starting point. Usually simpler things in paper delivers simple models to construct.

hope to have helped.

cheers
