Default new box

hey guys, got some good ideas as to make a clean install with some good sounding speakers. I want you recommendations as to size for each enclosure. I have two sony 12"s( I know they aren't the best) that I will install in the trunk of my car. Right now they are in a ported 1.5 cubic foot box, I believe. The boxes were made a long time ago.

My idea, is to make a box on the the floor of the trunk of the car and mount the amps on top of the box with like a cover on top of the whole box that will show just the amps and speakers.

What do you guys think as far as tuning these speakers, sealed or ported? Sizes per speaker size in each case. This in not going to be an spl car or anything of the sort. Does anybody have any or know of any programs out there that I can do a three dimensional box just putting in measurements and it will spit out the box size? I do want some decent quality sound of of them so I would like to weigh the option of just putting in one or two. I like to get the vibration in the seat, but at the same time don't like the sound to travel out of the car.

Ideas guys??????
