Default What sub to build

I need a clean sounding subwoofer plan to match my 2 channel Klipsch LaScala.

The lows drop off around 50 Hz or so but sound tight and clean

Any suggestions ?

How low does it need to go, how loud does it need to go, and how big can it be?

For just music, a LaScala may be ported to go to 31hz with no visible changes to the cabinet.
