Here's a quad speaker tapped horn I'm about to start. It's intended to be used in groups of 4. I will be using Lab12's for now as I already have them but will later upgrade to the B&C 12PS100's for smoother response and greater efficiency. If there is a flaw in my design, please do tell. Any advice is appreciated.
See pics of HornResponse simulation and plans. The grey line is the 12PS100's. Internal width is 48" chosen for easy of build. I've also included a zip file with the plans made from Google Sketchup here http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/attac...1&d=1258083654 ![]() ![]() ![]() |

They don't appear to go that low - what's the application?

Work in progress...
I made a few changes to the plan. S1-S3 is 2.5" on each side (minus the bracing) which makes S4 and S5 a little smaller. I'm installing 6 speakers instead of 4. |

Hello,
the horn throat seems to be a bit small for so much SD. Aircompression?

Horn Response calculates SD/S2 compression ratio as 2.13 to 1.
