Mate needs HT sub/ R CV strokers worth buying?

Cerwin Vega Speaker 18 inch Sub 1600 watts - eBay Sub Woofer, Speakers, Pro Audio, Musical Instruments. (end time 11-Nov-09 20:53:36 AEDST)

While I love the high SQ and deep bass of the three Cewin Vega drivers I own I know nothing about these except that they were developed as competition SPL woofers, any chance I could get a decent sound out of one? or even 2? Price would be right

For the same mate; would anyone in OZ have the T/S parameters for the cheap 15inch woofer Jaycar use in their party boxes??

Even approximate would do as I have a pair in a box which is now falling apart, they may be OK, BTW this mate just bought a set of HT speakers from Andy G, and he needs a biggish sub to go with the 5.1 set-up and he ( like most of us ) is suffering a little from mortgage stress; so cheap and cheerful to start off with.
