Cable for Active Subwoofer

I am currently using a Yamaha active subwoofer to subtly extend down the freq. response of my Richard Allan Minette II bookshelf speakers. Due to changes in the layout of my living room, I am having to reposition speakers and sub.

I would appreciate any advice regarding the characteristics of the cable needed to connect sub to amp (I am using speaker level connections due to the lack of any volume controlled line level output on Marantz PM44SE). Listening levels are generally pretty low and music is generally baroque/small ensemble classical.

The cable needs to be as unobtrusive as possible as it will be visible through some of its 6 metres length.

Please bear in mind the budget nature of the system when making suggestions!!

It doesn't need to be anything special. Find something inexpensive of the right length and appearance and you'll be fine.

Cool. Someone very nearby.

Like Brett said - you don't need anything particularly expensive. Most noise comming from cables will be filtered out by the subwoofer.
