Hello All,
I'm going to be buying some sonotube for my Tempest subwoofer here. I'm either going with 18 or 20" diamemter. Anyone in Calgary need some and would want to go halfers with me? Or does anyone have any extra left over? I think I'm going to go with a sealed enclosure of about 122 liters. That should give me a Q of .7 and according to winisd I'll be down -3 dB at 35 hz and down -6 dB at 26 hz. (That's going from a top range of 112 dB) I'm building this for a mix of music and home theater use. I'm hoping with room gain/corner loading the low end will bump up a bit. I'm powering it with a 250 watt plate amp. |
