Well....looking on Tangband's Website the W5-1126C appears Very Similar to the
W5-1138SM...both Subs have the Same Frame,Cone and Neodymium Motor Structure,However the W5-1126C has a Foam Surround Rather than the Rubber surround on the W5-1138SM,Frequency Response is 40-1,400 HZ on the W5-1126C (As Posted on Tangbands Website)45-1,500K on the W5-1138SM...Both Subs have a Posted Effiency of 82 Decibels, seeing how similar the two are,i would expect similar results using both.. http://www.tb-speaker.com/detail/1208_03/w5-1138sm.htm Here's the W5-1138SM on TB's Website Parts-Express.com:*Tang Band W5-1138SM 5-1/4" Neodymium Subwoofer | subwoofer 5-1/4" subwoofer neodynium subwoofer tangband tb speakers tangband-22008 and the W5-1138SM Being Sold at Parts Express...Price is Currently 33.86 as of 11/14/09 http://www.tb-speaker.com/detail/1208_03/w5-1126sc.htm Heres the W5-1126SC at TB's Website overall i think the W5-1138SM Could suite your needs...its gotten fairly positive Reviews at Parts-Express,though ive never owned one...it certainly exceeds the quality of the Drivers in Cheap Computer Systems...but i wouldnt be too optimistic of expecting super loud or super low bass (have to remember its only a 5.25" Driver) but overall its worth a try...it looks like a nice preforming driver...though i'd use more than one IMHO.' Hope i helped a Little. |
