I have a powered subwoofer which I would like to connect to receiver over the wireless link. Any suggestion for wireless Transmitter for Subwoofer and assessment of quality compared to cable.

You can get an FM wireless modulator for close to nothing -- don't know about India but those for IPODs are about $5-- they are used for conferences, public address, etc.

yeah I was thinking about those, was not sure about low frequency response of those transmitter. Any idea?

Fm itself should I think acording to the coms theory be good down to DC. The coupling capacitors in such a unit may need enlarging for operating at lf. Just don't get a unit based on SSB AM! :P (Joking as I don't think SSB AM is used in thse units)
