L shaped dipole sub with a pair of 10 inch Peerless polyprops. Damped MDF panels expoxied to paving stone. I have replaced drivers with ETON 8-800 HEX. A dipole rolls off at 6 dB per octave until driver resonance so you get pretty good response at frequencies below the baffle cancelation frequency. A passive line level shelf filter is easy for lower f -3dB corner. EQed dipoles or a transmission line is the way to go for a sub. I like to use stiff 8" drivers with high cone break up frequencies. Something designed for 2 or 3 way rather than for subwoofer use.

OK. Welcome to the forums. Members are familiar with dipole bass. What is the purpose of the thread? You want to relay construction info and EQ curve, maybe some measurements?

Kill it or move to appropriate existing thread. I have noticed some recent interest in L shaped dipoles but maybe it was on another forum. I could provide more information if shown a little more courtesy and some interest.

Interesting... which is the response graph (without EQ)?
And how low will it play with proper equalization? I mean before it starts distorting.
