RCA-1/4" should be fine.
Will I get ground loop hum and if so what do I do?
Unlikely. I've used RCA to 1/4" and RCA to XLR with a few different "pro" amps in my home system and never had hum problems. Neutrik makes nice XLR and 1/4" plugs that don't cost arms and legs, if you want to make up your own cables. The amp manual may have diagrams of suitable cable wiring.
I had some hum issues hooking up my EP2500. Give the "off the shelf" adapters a shot. If you have hum issues, you may need to customize a couple of cables. Go here for more information:
