Ok, I'm having brain flatulence.
If you use an elbow on your port do you measure the length as along the inside turn(short path), outside turn(long path), or down the center(average). I believe is down the middle, but I want to make sure. Also, assuming a front facing woofer and there is equal clearance in all directions, but stuffing on the bottom of the cabinet to fix a column resonance, does it matter if the elbow makes the port opening face up, down, or sideways? Thanks for any insight guys! -Mats |

The length is measured down the middle. It doesn't matter if the port opening faces up, down, or sideways, as long as it's one port diameter away from any wall.
