Hello!
I've got some Kenford PA drivers and i'm not really sure where to put them into. i want to use the speakers as pa subwoofers, about 100hz low pass and perhaps about 35 to 40hz high pass. the main music genre is ska, so between reggae and punk. i'm planing to use 125l-boxes ( + ports) tuned to about 39hz, but i would try everything, also horns. here are the tsp: 8Ohm, Re(Ohm)5,5, FS(Hz)39, Qts 0,47, Vas(L)212,44, B1 14,09 i know the drivers are only very low budget but i hope you can help me. |

It's your right to be wrong. A vented box should be on the order of 8 cu ft net, and tuned to about 40hz. A TH will be larger, but have more output.

You know, it might be possible to fold the horn to make it smaller.........nah, that probably wouldn't work.
A regular horn has to have a much larger mouth than a tapped horn, so that doesn't make any sense. Plus the T/S parameters look good for a TH, but not a regular horn. http://www.danleysoundlabs.com/pdf/T...ec%20Sheet.PDF
