This is my favorite sonosub driver, and to be honest, is where the whole sonosub trend came from. 4cu.ft. and a pair of 4" diameter x 24" long ports. I use a pair of these for subs in my church... granted I only run 85db at 72' (back of room) Once I get past 85... even the little old ladies take notice.. I guess once you open up the door to $100 drivers, you need to be more specific on your goals -- distortion, freq range, spl. etc... because there are more than just a couple options... |

I could be wrong on the 'first' I do know the good Dr. had a commercial product in 1991 based on sonotube... so that's some history.. Maybe I should have said first commercial product?
