Default Spare 12inch Peerless Resolution 822008 what to make of it?

Hi All,

As the title suggests I have a Peerless 822008 driver and looking for suggestions on what to do with it. I am new to the whole DIY speaker business so any guidance on the best setup for this driver would be great. The link to the drivers stats is below.

Thanks in advance.

Well, what do you want to make of it???

Big full range speaker (3 or 4 way might be possible)???
Subwoofer?
Would do well as a subwoofer, as it was originally designed for subwoofer use.
Or you could sell it I suppose...

You tell us what you want to make of it, we'll help you make something of it.

Sorry I realise now I should have put more details in. I want to build a subwoofer. Happy with my woodwork skills but not so good on the designing skills, hoping for some help in deciding if sealed/ported would be the better option.

Sealed is simplest and easiest, decent plate amp and away you go

No Xmax in the specs

Bjornos TH is interesting
Qts of 0.43 ought to work fine with closed, with some Eq, as Moondog suggest
Basrefleks tuned to 30hz is not impossible either

Still confused
