Hi,
With two bass drivers you would normally mount them on opposite faces such that the dynamic forces of the cone movements cancel. /sreten.

Option 1 here looks interesting too. It would have the same advantage of cancelling forces.
I haven't seen this configuration before - at a first glance it looks a bit like a monopole version of a ripole. Do you think the resonant frequency of the sealed system might be pushed down affording slightly deeper bass in this configuration? If so it might be possible to adjust the size of the slot as a sort of mechanical approach to an LT Of course I could be way off... |
