Comparison of sub drivers

Hi all,
I have a pair of Infinity car subwoofers (12 inch). And comparin the parameters of those and the Eminence Lab 12, I find that only a few parameters are different. The problem with the Infinity subs is that they seem to need a lot of power to be driven well though they are rated at 90dB.
One thing is that the inductance of the car sub is much higher. Could this be a factor in the car sub needing higher power? The force factor of both does not vary by too much. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
