First time sub builder needs some help/suggestions from you folks. I am in the process of restoring a vintage Jensen stereo cabinet that has 2 built in "sub" enclosures in the bottom of the cabinet, originally housing two 1960's Jensen P12NF's. Since i am trying a multi-sub approach I thought i should replace the P12Ns with more of a true bass driver. I am working with cabinet dimensions of 25"x14"x13" w/ a 2" port opening and can obviously make them a bit smaller by increasing the cabinet's interior walls if necessary. Currently I am looking at some replacements that seem well suited to a 2.6cubic ft vented enclosure with a 3" port. Also trying to stay with two 8ohm drivers that i can run off of a single sub plate amp like a Bash 300 or 500.

Cms = 0.0688 in/Ib
Mms = 6.47 oz or 183.5 grams
Rms = 12.94 Ibs/sec
Xmax = 16 mm
Sd = 72.5 sq.in or Dia = 9.6 in or 244 mm
Electrical Parameters:

Qes = 0.38
Re = 6.7 ohms
Le = 3.9 mH
Z = 8.0 ohms
BL = 19.4
Pe = 200.0 watts
Combination Parameters:

Qts = 0.344
Sens = 85.8 dB

Other Suggestions on resonably priced, resonably effecient, mid xmax drivers ?

I am not looking for extreme HT type output. Just good stereo music use with occasional movie watching in a small room 12'x14'. A good balance between X-max and effeciency.

Thanks for your time.
Regards, Daniel.
