I hadn't seen this thread until now. I would have been tempted to build a W-frame OB sub using both drivers. It would be small and the low fs of these drivers would allow it to reach quite deep whilst the high efficiency helps ovcercome some of the losses of OB. Distortion cancelling mounting (as it appears you've used in your box) would also be possible. EQ required however with that low Q factor and maximum SPL would be reduced (at advantage of lower reaching bass and smaller footprint).
