Anybody have these plans? I have 4 of these badboys laying around collecting dust. I remember them being on the old Adire site and I used to have them but somehow I lost the plans. Any help would be appreciated, I can't find them anywhere.

Interesting, I figured it would be here: http://www.adireaudio.com/Files/
Anyway, I added it to e-snips for future reference/DL: http://www.esnips.com/doc/19fc9c09-0...tBassHornPlans GM

If you actually expect bass below 50hz you will want to build something different.
Bill Woods (RCA-fan at AA), former horn designer at Yorkville Sound, has a better design for the Tempest. http://photofile.name/users/tda-audi...#mainImageLink The air path is about three foot longer, so it will actually have some bass. There is a proper sized front cavity for the woofer, so it won't have a big suck-out due to the small mouth.

Or you could build the BFM Tuba HT.
http://www.billfitzmaurice.com/THT.html you need to purchase plans though. |

ahh, I might do those plans then. From what I read, bass response was from "30-200 hz" on the Tempest horn.
