I knocked one up quick, just to hear what it was like. I played it in my People Carrier, give it some Pink Floyd, Kate Bush, Drum n Bass and some Old Skool House mixed with a bit of Rave, bass and drums was good, but it never dropped to do justice. Rock was good nice tight pounding drum, however, played indoors fed by a measly couple of watts. Room gain does its thing and the lows are there, also would just like to say, in a vehicle I used an active lowpass of the amp I used, indoors I played it full range. I added a tweeter to help the treble. Not bad for mono, SPL was good, I could feel the drum pounding, I'd expect the 30hz TH to be amazing, especially a stereo pair.
As with a proper horn, shame about the size Mike

... thats an IITronics mp3 player. Cheapy I use at work. The woofer is an SPLX 10" from days gone by. The wood was my daughter's old bed and as you can see, its literally thrown together. Oh, and the photo is inverted, had to snap it portrait and rotated and flipped in paint.
I just wanted to hear it. Mike
