I want to build a small sub with this 8" speaker:
http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/55-2421 I have Pioneer Elite VSX-33TX (5.1, with 100w/ch for suboutput with variable x-over freq and volume control built in) that I will be using to drive small satellite speakers (will be using 2.1 setup). 1. Will the passive subwoofer system work? I want to add the subwoofer module to the 15x15" entertainment center on the bottom where the carton box is situated. ![]() 2. what should the size of subwoofer box be? 3. better sealed or with the port? and size of the tube? thanks, gychang |
