What's the best bandpass design calculator
Looking for the best and most accurate bandpass design calculator! Anyone know of one?
Thanks, FSHZ:42 |

Thanks CarlosT, I'm just wondering how accurate that program might be!
|
It's pretty neat...you can't ave the files but I think it works OK. You'd have to compare it to some other program like WinISD or something...

LspCad is quite accurate, but not particularly cheap.

What about the Harris Tech BassBox 6 Pro? Would this be compatable to the LspCad?
|
I think the easiest is winspeakerz.
But u hv to pay 4 it. |
My knowledge of BB6 pro is limited to dimly recalling some folks posting on the old Basslist of not being very pleased with it overall, but that was a lifetime ago in software years, so can't comment beyond being very pleased with Lspcad's accuracy.

I hv bassbox pro, winspeakerz, subwoofer design toolbox & ajbandpss.
There is very little difference in designing. But i found winspeakerz to work easily. U can interact with it very easily. I am using others to just crosscheck. |
Thanks guys for the info. I am trying to design a bandpass enclosure, for a 10" woofer, that would be suitable for hi-fi audio. I saw a fourth order band pass calculator on this site: http://www.colomar.com/Shavano/4thorder_info.html
Was wondering how it would compare to the other programs you guys had recommended? Once again, Thanks for the Help! |
