Hornresp

I'm seeing some odd behavior in going between the Wizard and the plot of the resulting saved design, looks like they are not using the same math?

Hi Dan,

Could you please post a specific example (with screenprints if possible), to enable me to replicate your results and to then investigate the problem further. Thanks.

Kind regards,

David

Hi Dan,

Many thanks for the example - the problem was confined to negative flare parabolic horn segments only. The bug has now been fixed - Product Number 2910-120902 refers.

The latest release also includes a change to the schematic diagram horn data export functionality. Previously the width of a rectangular cross-section could only be specified indirectly by entering the height (see attachment 1). Now either the height or width dimension can be entered directly (see attachment 2) .

Kind regards,

David

Am I doing this correctly?
I'm guessing the increments are on the axis going through the center of the horn?!

Hi Daniel,

You are correct in your thinking.

Starting with S1 = 49, S2 = 2500 and L12(Exp) = 60 , I get a slightly different result to yours, but nothing to worry about.

Length...Height...Width

0...........70........70
100........67.......142
200........85.......213
300........123.....285
400........189.....357
500........303.....428
600........500.....500

Kind regards,

David

David,

I appreciate all your hard work in this product.

Obviously your an audio/computer nut!

Keep it going.

Since you give it away what would be an apropriate donation?

Hi Etocynned,

Thanks for the feedback - knowing that Hornresp is proving to be useful and that my efforts are valued, is all the reward I need :).

Kind regards,

David

Thanks Dan,

I calculated the area marked as Vtc.

The calculation is as under

42.07 width till horn starts
10.6 height
57.4 depth of the box.

so it calculated as 42.07 x 10.6 x 57.4 = 25597 + added speaker volume 4403.
So i rounded as 30000.
The triangle volume i adjusted towards round cutout of plywood .

Pl. correct me.
