Error Fixed

Hi Everyone,

The Loudspeaker Wizard baseline combined response results were incorrect for non-zero path length differences. This has been fixed in the latest release - Product Number 2620-100225.

Kind regards,

David

HornrespMerge available again

Hi,

I've found a new home for my homepage, http://folk.ntnu.no/bjorkol. This means that HornrespMerge is again available for download. Now that David has included that handy export/import function, it may not be so useful anymore - but it can at least move several records at once :) (ver. 1.4).

Thanks,

I was looking for that. After you get 40 plus records, that program is a bliss.

Best regards Johan

Can someone verify that I did in fact get a correctly exported Hyp /.6 expansion.
Or possibly directions on how get a correct export :)
THANKS

Hi Dan

Could you possibly post the input parameters to compare them?

It does indeed appear to be the correct expansion but I cannot tell for sure until I compare what you inputted and the resulting export on my computer.

Mark

NEO Dan 8th March 2010 02:51 AM

I did :)
S1 260
S2 2225
go to L12 press H to get Hyp, enter 160
T .6

Those are the inputs, but what I need verified is that HR will actually export the data for that correctly because the export options are Con Exp and Uni? Specifically the field that needs to be accurate is the Area field.

Thanks

mwmkravchenko 8th March 2010 03:14 AM

Well if it makes you feel any better I got exactly the same results. If you want pics I saved them. But my guess is you can look at the input screen and the data just as easily as I can. You have worked this out well.

This looks like a wave guide rather than a horn.

NEO Dan 8th March 2010 03:44 AM

Waveguide for a bass horn, yep ;)

In the Export Wizard, you can select the Width Flare as Con, Exp or Uni. That means this is the way the width of the horn varies, not the area. Plot the height and width contours in exel or similar, and you will see how it works.
