I am in the process of building 4 t-36 but will not have them done for some time. I am now using 2 front loaded bass bins that are custom built. The bins are: 20" tall, 4' long, 30" deep. Each bin has a port tube in each corner but are not properly tuned. The front of the boxes are removable so what I want to do is remake the front of the boxes. Should a box this size be ported? Vented? or sealed? Push Pull? Is this setup even practical? The drivers are Kappa Pro LF's. The boxes sound ok now but just (ok). I do want something simple, and cheap since they are only temporary and would like to stay with a 2X15 setup.
Any advice is greatly appreciated! |
