So I grabbed a "Brahma" from here;
http://phoenix.craigslist.org/ele/572189112.html with out giving it much thought. The thought being, "is it the XBL^2 motor?" It might be the parts, but unless it is put together the right way it won't be the same, right? Should I just get the CSS SDX15 and not worry about the "Brahma"? |

You can buy the 15" Tempest-X from DIYcable for $185, it has XBL^2 technology and was co-designed by Dan Wiggins
http://www.diycable.com/main/product...roducts_id=652 They also have the 12" Shiva-X. |

Adire products have essentially evolved into products from Hemp Acoustics, diyCable & CSS. All of these are designed by Dan or by Chris (also ex-Adire and skilled at XBL)
The new HA products have not yet been seen, but the other 2 are outstanding. The old Brahma is no slouch either, but not likely quite up to the latest designs. dave
