Hello,
Just thought I would show a pic of my semi-finished subwoofer enclosure. It is designed around a Peerless 12" XLS & 2 12" Peerless Passive Radiators. 50 Litres net internal volume. It will be powered by an Adire ADA1200 (I will keep the gain DOWN). The cabinet is constructed out of 2 layers of 3/4" mdf that are glued together with polyurethane adhesive. The cabinets sides along with all bracing is then secured using West System 2 part marine epoxy. The I-Beam style Baltic Birch vertical brace (shown) is routed into the top & bottom panels; the post is maple laminated with Baltic Birch. It is ridgid enough, I hope... This is a great hobby, special thanks to Cal Weldon for getting me interested in it.... HTR |

Nice HTR. Love the solid brace in the middle. Driver mount hard up against it?

Hey Bruce,
That's looks really nice. Glad to see the progress. You know what? You always had the interest, you just needed someone to confirm it. Cheers. |
