hello I have a chance to get an infinity woofer from a sm225. does anyone know the specs on it as I'm thinking of trying to try it as a cheap sub. my problem with it though is I have no idea on what it's specs are and I've tried to search and can't seem to find any. then numbers on the sub are SM12GCF PN 333512-001
wondering if you guys might have any idea or if it would even be worth it to try this. |

Based solely on this info it might work well in either a 'BIB' pipe or tapped horn, but that's probably it and you would have to measure its specs to do the latter: http://www.tradeloop.com/m/products/...fm?View=505551

Sorry to bump this old post, but I'd need exactly this woofer for said speaker.
If you could still get it, that is |

what is a BIB pipe?
also how would one go about finding the T/S of the speaker? if I get that I'm sure I could do a little moer for the box. eivind_E I wish I could help you out on this but only thing I can say is watch the papers. I found this one and the mid off craigslist and figured it could make a project speaker. |

A conic or linear expansion pipe horn: http://www.zillaspeak.com/bib-howtobuild.asp
Probably either you or someone reasonably near you set up to do so will have to measure them. GM
