Today i tested one vented car subwoofer box.
It is a small 8" carsub. I got the following results from woofer tester(old) bought from parts express. Vented box measurement results : Fsb 44.27 alpha 0.913 ha 1.076 Fl 29.37 Fm 47.64 Fh 71.81 Rm(vented) 4.47. I will like to hv opinion from fellow members. What modification can be done with this subwoofer? I like hard bass! |

I believe you need to do a free air measurement on that woofer to get Qms, Qes and Qts. From your vented box measurement you can determine Fsb and Vas. Woofer Tester should be able to help you determine these parameters.
BTW, what is "hard bass"? If you mean "lots" you probably need more than just an 8" woofer.
