Has anyone ever upgraded the caps or any internal parts? If so, what were the sonic gains/cost and what parts did you use? I've been thinking of doing some Black Gate cap upgrades but have gotten some very mixed feedback. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks- |

sonic gain in subs ... you must be a joking
Seriously, I wouldnt mess with that rythmik amp, unless you are VERY skilled and know exactly what you are doing, and in that case you wouldnt need to ask |

Subwoofer usually output well over 10% THD at reference levels.
You are way better upgrading to a better subwoofer driver. Rythmik already sell improved amplifiers. I bet you could ask them and they could tell you what can be improved. I purchased an amplifier from them in the past and they were always helpful. I think upgrading op-amps and adding more power supply caps may be better than changing them, but I dunno... Good luck !
